Karen and Josef got married on Saturday 26th August, the ceremony was atThe Roman Catholic Cathedral in Norwich with the reception being held at Chaucer Barn, Gresham. Karen had a picture that she absolutely loved and wanted me to re-create the look for her and the bridesmaids bouquet, the picture was of a very simple posy that was made from just 5 amazingly blowsy garden style roses edged in foliage for a stunning, sophisticated look.
The colour scheme was blush pinks with pale muted foliages, the roses that I decided to use were mass petalled ‘Keira’ David Austin and ‘Ga O’Hara’ which are both absolutely beautiful, Karen’s bouquet was edged in ‘Olive’ with the bridesmaids edged in ‘Baby Blue’ eucalyptus.
The flower girls had cute gypsophila bunches, edged in pale blue toned eucalyptus, they were finished with overlaid ribbons in pale pinks, blues and ivories, with the ends left long to trail down. The buttonholes were made from blush pink spray roses and backed with silvery curry plant, eucalyptus and olive foliages for a natural, relaxed feel. Back at Chaucer barn Karen and Josef had sourced their own table centres, but they wanted a natural, informal style arrangement to be placed on the cake table, this was made from the amazing large headed, blowsy roses, spray roses, gyp clusters, pale toned foliages with clematis vines fluttering through the design and left to cascade down creating a stunning, rambling feel.
