Claire and Nico got married on Saturday 21st October with the ceremony and reception both being held at Caistor Hall, the colour scheme was deep purples, lilacs and ivories with silvery toned foliages mixed through. The bridal bouquet was made from lilac ‘Lisianthus’, some clusters of dried ‘Lavender’, lilac ‘Veronica’, white delicate ‘Astrantia’, sweet scented lilac ‘Freesia’, with some white ‘Iris’ mixed through which had sentimental value to Claire, silvery ‘Senecio’ and ‘Eucalyptus’ foliages mixed through.
The buttonholes were a cluster style made from elements from the bridal bouquet, made from a single lilac ‘Freesia’, a couple of lilac ‘Veronica’ a single ivory ‘Lisianthus’ head, touches of dried ‘Lavender’ and backed with silvery blue foliages. The ceremony area had a beautiful banister which was decorated with masses of trailing ivy, silvery ‘Senecio’ leaves, white ‘Iris’, lilac ‘Lisianthus’, sweet scented lilac ‘Freesia’, clusters of dried ‘Lavender’, white ‘Lisianthus’, ‘Antirrhinums’ with some stunning deep purple ‘Vanda’ orchids dotted through.
The table flowers were very simple, Claire and Nico sourced they own vases which were amazing, so they didn’t want too many flowers as this will detract from the vases, so the designs were comprised of trailing ivy, palest be toned ‘Eucalyptus’ and floaty ‘Asparagus Fern’ , with some beautiful deep purple ‘Vanda’ orchids nestled in the ivy, with petals in lilac tones scattered around the centre design.
